While the Disco Skillet may be cast iron, it does require a different method of cleaning and care. To keep your iKamper Disco cooking disc in top condition, avoid rapid temperature changes, use gentle utensils such as wood or silicone, clean with warm water and mild soap after each use, and deep clean with baking soda only as needed, ensuring it's thoroughly dried and stored in a cool, dry place. What is the Disco Skillet made of?

The Disco Skillet is made of Enamel Coated Meehanite Cast Iron.

Can you use any material to cook with on the skillet?

Yes, we advise on using wooden or silicone utensils. However, metal can be used but with caution as it could damage the enamel coating if used aggressively.
