Factor 55 - Crosby Shackle 3/4'' Red (00064-01)

Factor 55 has stress-tested numerous low-quality imported shackles and are surprised by the wide variation of material yield points and ultimate breaking strengths.  This is why 99% of imported shackles are not certified to be used in critical overhead/crane lifting operations.

The recreational offroad industry is full of low-quality imported shackles due to their low cost. This limits the locations to purchase USA-made shackles to only your local rigging supply store. Factor 55 has partnered with the Crosby Group to offer their quality shackles in our durable UV stable powder coated finishes.  Each shackle is first powder coated with an epoxy-based powder coating for superior corrosion resistance, then powder coated in a polyester-based material for UV stability (For 5/8 and 3/4 Shackles ONLY).

3/4″ is most common for JEEP, Truck, SUV applications. (3/4 shackle = 7/8 diameter pin)

NOTE ABOUT SHACKLE FINISHES: Factor 55 sources 100% USA Made drop-forged,  shackles from Crosby USA. These shackles can sometimes have small blemishes after their powder coating. These blemishes do not affect the shackle’s ability to outperform low-quality imported shackles in any way. These are a tool. A life safety tool to be used confidently with your recovery rigging. If you have a show build or simply looking for shackles to be used for display, these may not be the shackles for you.
