Fuel Feed System


FUEL TRANSFER SYSTEM


This system is designed to pump the fuel from the Brown Davis auxiliary fuel tank into the vehicles standard fuel tank. At the flick of a switch fuel will be pumped into your vehicles standard tank to then be feed to the engine. An LED gauge is supplied to show driver the fuel level of the auxiliary fuel tank at all times. When the auxiliary tank becomes empty an automatic alarm will sound to tell driver to switch pump system off. This prevents pump from continuously running which can course pump failure. All parts and hardware for install are supplied


Fuel pumps burning out is now a thing of the past. Brown Davis has developed a new auxiliary fuel tank gauge, switch and buzzer unit to be supplied with most Brown Davis auxiliary transfer fuel tanks. the small unit is no bigger then a 10 cent coin and can be mounted nicely in vehicles dashes.


 


Auxiliary Tank LED Gauge Operation

Tank Full – Fuel Not Transferring

The LED gauge displays the auxiliary tank's fuel level at all times, even when the fuel pump is not operating.


  • LED gauge continuously shows the auxiliary tank fuel level.
  • Fuel transfer pump is switched off.
  • No fuel is being transferred to the main tank.



Tank Full – Fuel Transferring

When the transfer button is pressed, the fuel pump begins transferring fuel from the auxiliary tank to your vehicle's main fuel tank. The round yellow LED indicates that the pump is operating.


  • Fuel is transferred from the auxiliary tank to the main tank.
  • Yellow indicator light confirms the pump is running.
  • LED gauge continues to display the auxiliary tank fuel level.



Tank Half Full – Fuel Transferring

As fuel is transferred, the LED gauge displays the remaining fuel level in the auxiliary tank. The transfer can be stopped at any time by pressing the pump activation button on the gauge.


  • LEDs indicate the remaining fuel level.
  • Fuel continues transferring to the main tank.
  • Transfer can be stopped at any time using the gauge button.



Tank Empty – Fuel Transferring

When the auxiliary tank becomes empty, an audible buzzer alerts the driver to switch the fuel pump off. This feature helps protect the pump from damage and extends its service life.

  • Protects the pump from running dry and increases longevity.
