The Patented Duroflex™ Joint (metalcloakpatents.com) is the key to getting the greatest flex in a bolt-on suspension kit. Period.
MetalCloak has taken the best features of the most widely used control arm joints and combined those features to create the Duroflex Joint, producing a Low-Maintenance, High-Misalignment (34˚), Self-Centering, Rebuildable Joint with an OEM quality ride.

DuPont™ Kevlar® Fiber is now compounded in the proprietary elastomer of the Duroflex Bushing, bringing even more strength, durability and performance.
Kevlar® is a synthetic fiber with extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio…five times stronger than steel and commonly used in bullet proof armor applications.
Duroflex Bushings w/Kevlar® can be identified by the MetalCloak “M” located on the outer surface.
Control Arm Duroflex Joint Alignment...
At MetalCloak we take the care to build every product right.
Most manufacturers build their control arms misaligned from center. Why? It simply costs less to do so.
By not cutting any corners, our joints are Centered and Aligned reducing wear and improving performance.

What are True Dual Rate Coils?
MetalCloak JL Wrangler True Dual Rate™ Coils have one of the longest free length in the industry for greater articulation without sacrificing the OEM ride quality.
Without the advantage of the Dual Rate Design, the required Spring Rate would be too low and "squishy" -- just loading your Jeep up with supplies would affect ride height and quality.
Lower Front Coil Isolator Correction Pads
Replace the plastic OE factory coil isolator pads that are problematic and cause coil bow. This polymer Isolator replaces the OEM plastic part and corrects the coil bow that may be caused when using the worn parts. Fits in factory location and is a quick upgrade to fine tune your JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator.

MetalCloak Thermoset Elastomer Coil Isolator upgrade pads are designed to last and outperform factory parts. The pads are made specifically for MetalCloak True Dual Rate Coils and are model specific.
Not just any track bar bushing...meet the Patented Durotrak
The Patented Durotrak ™ Bushing (metalcloakpatents.com) is a NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) bushing made with a proprietary elastomer compound unique to MetalCloak. The Durotrak™ two part bushing is comprised of two pieces that thread together making this bushing simple to install without a press, reduces vibration and harshness transferred to the driver, and improves vehicle steering input.

Rear Adjustable Bump Stops!
Manufactured from trail-proven natural thermoset elastomer, each puck is designed to work universally with your JL Wrangler.
Designed specifically for the JL Wrangler, the system comes with 4 Rectangular Pucks, allowing for easy adjustment between 1" - 4"
Outboard Shock Mount
MetalCloak Jeep JL Outboard Front Lower Shock Mount Spacer Kit:
- Engineered to move the lower shock mounts away from the Jeep frame rails increasing clearance for the shock body at the extremes of articulation.
- All Grade 8 hardware provided.
- Treated with Gold Zinc Chromate for the ultimate in defense against the elements.
- Manufactured from laser cut 3/16" steel and CNC bent for superior strength and exact fitment.
Bracket rotates shock eyelet; allows it to swing with the axle vs bind on the limited elastomer material. The Outboard Front Lower Shock Mount Spacer comes in the NO Shock, RockSport Shock Kits Only. The 6Pak Shocks do not require the outboard shock mount.
Important Note: If using OE wheels 2" spacers will be needed to give proper clearance. These mounts are intended for use for wheels with 4.5" of backspacing or less or an equivalent of a 2" spacer on factory wheels.

The Patented MetalCloak 6Pak™ (metalcloakpatents.com) provides the longest shock travel relative to a compressed length for any off-road shock ever built in history, period.
MetalCloak's Long-Travel Shock Technology provides a game-changing platform featuring parallel shafts extending from a floating body, centralized by dual opposing reservoirs; this revolutionary feature allows for twice the usual stroke over typical industry shocks.
Now the problems of low-hanging shocks or limited travel because of your shock body are fully and completely eliminated.
The shock is no longer the limiting factor in your build.
The RockSport RED Shock
It’s not just a shock, it is a piece in a tuned system. This is not a typical bolt on shock. RockSport RED shocks are valved and specifically tuned to work with MetalCloak True Dual-Rate Coils.
MetalCloak has refined the RockSport RED Shocks compression and dampening to provide stable, yet compliant manners for daily driving and also in situations where Long Travel articulation is needed to keep the tires planted on the ground.

The RockSport Black Shock
The RockSport Remote Reservoir Black shocks are specifically made to work with MetalCloak True Dual-Rate Coils; the Digressive valving provide the best of slow and fast speed performance.
Shocks are made with 2.5 diameter, 3/16 thick wall aluminum with a huge interior for fluid to ensure they stay cool and hold up to on and off-road abuse.

Outboard Stand Off Mounts
Shock attaches with built-in off set mounts that allow for long travel capabilities with the convenience of an OE like fitment.
Braided Hydraulic Hose
The Remote reservoir connects to the shock with a high pressure, polymer overlaid, stainless-steel braided, reinforced , Teflon inner core, hydraulic hose, with optimized flow orifices to allow unhindered shock oil flow.
Eight Settings Compression Adjustment
Large, easy to grip billet knob with laser marked numbers allow you to change the compression setting simply; choose from 8 settings that add an additional 15% compression force at each click to tune in your Gold Standard. Dial in your off-road comfort along with great daily driving performance.
Note:The Eight Setting Compression Adjustment is ONLY on the RockSport Black Adjustable Reservoir Shocks.
The Fox Shock
- Direct Bolt-on Replacement. Fox designed this shock to be a direct bolt on replacement for your lifted JL.
- Designed for use with our 3.5" to 5.5" suspension lift, the Fox Shocks feature an Internal Floating Piston mono-tube design.

The MetalCloak Game Changing Duroflex™ Joints are the only vulcanized elastomer, self-centering joint enhanced with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber – providing incredible durability with more misalignment in the control arms and better vibration dampening than anything else available. Exclusive to MetalCloak (see detailed info in the main body).
True Dual Rate™ Coils provides the most comfortable and stable ride over traditional single rate lift springs, and provide better load handling than the typical "progressive/multi-rate" coils. Our True Dual Rate coils are extra long in free-length to maintain contact for extreme articulation. MetalCloak has over a decade of proven dual-rate coil performance.
The front true dual rate coils come with MetalCloak's Front Lower Coil Correction Pads. This polymer isolator replaces the OEM plastic part and corrects the coil bow that may be caused when using the worn parts. Fits in factory location and is a quick upgrade to fine tune your Jeep.

The Durotrak bushings reduce NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) that can be transferred to the driver and provides a smoother ride while also improving the vehicles steering input. The patented bushing is a 2-part design that can rotate 360 degrees in a vertical plane unhindered while minimizing horizontal forces to keep the Jeeps axle centered and you going in the right direction.
We offer a choice in shocks; run the shock set-up you choose to fit your build needs. If you have a different idea of what shocks will work best for you- go for it. MetalCloak suspensions ARE designed to optimally be used with the patented MetalCloak 6Pak™ Shocks for maximum up and down travel. Our RockSport Shocks (Exclusively at MetalCloak) provide the next longest travel you can get with the simplicity of a standard shock and share the same valving as 6Paks; this is a great option if looking for a no-maintenance option at a great price. The choice is yours to buy the suspension with or without shocks; we recommend our specifically tuned shocks but we leave the choice up to you.
Adjustable height front and rear bump stops are a MetalCloak first and allow you to adjust the travel to be tailored to the size of tire you have optioned for. Add more bump stop or remove to adjust to the clearance you need without having to remove the coils.
All MetalCloak suspension components, are designed for maximum up AND down travel while providing the best suspension geometry available to deliver the performance you demand.
MetalCloak “components” have been proven safe with the FMVSS certificate of safety configured with 37inch tires, full body armor and suspension lift.
Note: 6Pak Shocks are not shipped outside of North America. If you are outside of the USA or Canada and order 6Pak shocks or any kit with 6Pak shocks, you are waiving the rights to the lifetime customer service and manufacturers warranty.
Note: Due to the long-travel MetalCloak suspensions provide, factory drive shafts will contact OEM components and wear quickly when at the extremes of articulation. An aftermarket driveshaft will be needed.
Note: MetalCloak engineers have chosen shocks that have been proven to have the ideal synergy with our systems. We have not tested other shocks on the market as to whether they complement our Game-Changer system or suppress its performance.

Note: RockSport Black Shocks are LARGE BODIED 2.5 diameter long-travel shocks. Specific brackets are provided for mounting, dependent on axle type i.e.: (wide track axle) Rubicon/Max tow or (standard axle width) Sport Model. Correct wheel backspacing IS required.
