OVERVIEW
Jeep has stopped including the engine cover on new 2022+ Jeeps. Since the engine cover is not included the bracket to hold the cover is also being deleted and not included. If you did not receive an engine cover you may not have the required engine bracket needed for the UnderHood mount to work. See photos for a photo of the required bracket.
Fits Jeep Gladiator & Jeep JL with 3.6L Engine ONLY. Does not fit the 3.6L eTorque, 2.0, Diesel or V8 engines.
Designed to mount the ARB Twin or Single Compressor, model #s CKMA12 & CKMTA12. Included with the kit are: Compressor mounting plate, dual air chuck / rocker switch plate and mounting hardware. The compressor plate also includes small slots along both sides for zip ties once you have your airlines and wiring setup. We recommend using an adhesive heat shield on the bottom of the compressor mounting plate to help block radiant heat from the compressor. Heat shield NOT included.
Removal of the plastic engine cover is required to use this mount. There is a VERY slight amount of contact with the hood liner from a corner of the black casing of the compressor when using the ARB Twin on Rubicon models.
Mount is 1/8" 5052 powder coated aluminum for superior corrosion resistance. Stainless steel mounting hardware included. No drilling required.
ARB compressor, rocker switch, air chucks and airlines not included.
NOTE: The small front plate that the air couplers and switch are mounted to are omitted from the order if you choose the ARB Manifold add-on kit since the manifold mounts in the same location.
Note: Use of an adhesive heat shield is highly recommended. 813 Fabrication & Design is not responsible for any heat damage that may occur to your ARB compressor. Heat shield NOT included.
